Please add a second favor item slot

I think it would add more depth to the builds of demigods.

Honestly, if they had more than 2-3 favor items to choose from this might be an issue.

If a player on one team had enough favor to buy two favor items but the players on the other team didn't he would gain a huge and unfair advantage.

And increase the whining about unbalanced favor.

Though honestly, I do think one favor item is powerful enough. Two would be too much.

Since 90%+ choose the speed item they might as well just raise base movement rate, delete the speed anklet, and keep just one favor slot. Much easier to code that then add another slot.

I dont see how anyone would not be able to purchase 2 favor items, it takes less then 30 minutes to get one of them...so none of the teams would be imbalanced.

Or just take swift anklet out, yah i kinda agree on that.

You can say this about 1 favor item.

It only takes a few wins to get what you're looking for anyways.

@miyamiya, agreed.

@JagerJack Really? How hard is it to unlock the favor items?

@Myles Are you kidding? 1 isn't enough but 2 is too much... That was a joke right?

i hate playing games with favor anyways. adding 2 would be crazy

To echo an earlier point, I don't think this really matters until more than a handful of them are actually useful.

Personally, I'd rather seem them all balanced to some degree and offered for the same cost.  But that's me.

Why are people so scared of change lol, what if the game shipped with 2 favor items? No one would speak out against it , have an open mind.

And for all you people saying that 2 favor items would mess things up... you never posted a reason why...

For most people, it isn't. But there are some people who are having problems with the favor system, making them unable to gain favor.

Not to the same extent. Having Mard's Hammer or the Serpent Blade at the begining of the game is one thing, but having them both is just ridiculous. At the very least there would have to be certain items that could not be bought together.

1 favor item is dumb enough, thx...

Favor items are a mechanic that a number of people are already lukewarm about.  Giving this one-choice-per-match system even more sway in a fight doesn't make much sense right now since, as was said, favor isn't working properly for everyone and the items themselves aren't anywhere close to balanced at the moment.

Why exactly do you think we need this?  There are piles of items available throughout a given fight that generally have comparable or better effects than the favor items so how much extra 'depth' do you really see it adding?

i don't see the point, every decent player would use one of the 2 slots for the anckle of speed. And the whole point of the favor system is that you have to make the hard choice of what capacity would be the most usefull for the present battle. If you add a second one, you delete that dimension of the gameplay.

One item is enough..

I think two would add to depth also. You could remedy the imbalance of a dg with 2 vs a dg with 0 by eliminating the favor point system and just letting people pick two.

Well fixing the completely broken favor tracking system is assumed to happen before they do anything else.
