Achievement Items Idea

Idea for Achievement Items (mock favor items)

My Idea is to have items specific to a demigod that are rewarded when you achieve certain achievements.

Just an idea I think they would be a fun feature and could be a easy way to further balance the game as well as add depth, feel free to post your achievement ideas, criticisms or comments!

If some of you guys could post Sedna, Regulus, Rook, and Oak items that would be cool.

Here are some of my ideas, don't mind the cliche names

Forces of Darkness

Example 1. QoT

Achievement Name: Bramble Fiend. Two million damage absorbed by Bramble Shield.

Achievement Reward: Bramble Spike, 10% of damage absorbed by Bramble Shield is reflected.

Example 2. UB

Achievement Name: Its Raining Spit! 3 million damage afflicted with Poison Spit.

Achievement Reward: Enhanced Spit, increases the range of spit by 7 yards.

Example 3. Erebus

Achievement Name: Blood Thirst. 3 million damage dealt with Bite.

Achievement Reward:Mana Thirst, Bite now restores mana equivalent to the damage dealt.

Example 4. TB

Achievement Name: Fire, Ice and Everything Nice!. Deal 3 million damage with Fire Ball and Deep Freeze

Achievement Reward: Cold Heat, Fireball and Deep Freeze now leave a DoT over 6 seconds equivalent to 40% of the damage done.

your suggested items will horribly imbalance the game but class specific items are a cool idea. Make the bonus' small ones that wont affect the gameplay so much.

An item for Sedna perhaps: Throw harpoon for (amount of mana), Sedna throws her harpoon that once stabbed her in the chest, The harpoon does (amount of dmg) or something like that. An item like this will enhance a characters story. If you read Sedna's story you know that she was once impaled by the harpoon she now carries etc.

Really? I don't think they'd be huge imbalances. I think It would take some time to earn the items and they should be worth the time spent.

Maybe if you could let me know which ones or why they are too OP

I'm if you look at other games such as Team Fortress 2, you will see that acheivements are gotten VERY fast because some people feel the need to play 2 days straight in fake games just for to unlock them. If the acheivement adds even half of the stuff you mentioned, new players would be owned every time. Things need to be on the level of favor items. Oh wait we have favor items that will do nearly the same thing once they are working properly.

Overall, not a horrible idea, but favor items sorta does this already.

Alright here I go xD

Queen of Thorns is fine nothing really OP there.

UB, 7 yards is huge for that skill, it will almost allow you to spit a demigod 2 times before he even reaches you. Well maybe not 2 times but srsly 7 yards is huge. I think towers have a 6 yard range.

TB, lemme calculate his damage after the 40% buff, 800 dmg ice rain (1 effect in use atm), Ice blast (2 effects in use now) Shatter the 2 effects sums up to 1200 damage or 1400 damage(dno for sure) with the fire&ice lvl 15 skill. Thats ~2k damage total + 40% thats another 800 damage over time for a total of 2.8k damage, Fireball with the fire&ice skill lvl 15 will do aprox 1450 (I think) + 40% damage is 2030 damage in total. Big amounts as you can see. The percentages are an easy fix though. You could make all non aura skill of the torch bearer ~20% more effective and the aura types ~10% more effective.

PS: sorry if my calculations are a bit off, its late and I hate typing large amounts of text :P
