Upgrading a computer and the galciv account

I will be updating my computer 2 days from now
To the new machine I will re install my galciv.
Will my record be there since I will be using the same cd key or do I have to something to keep my record and continue to add to my profile?

If by record, you mean metaverse account, it should still work. Just make sure that you enter your player alias the same way as before the first time you submit a score from the new computer so that it will show up.
