stats are screwed - who is Vorxther (has to be a bot...)

1) I think everyone can agree the stats are screwed.  When I join a pantheon game, 7 out of 10 times before the game even finishes loading, I hear "a player has left the game".  At that point people start bailing out b/c no one wants AI on their team, and no one wants to waste time playing against AI.  So yeah, I end up disconnecting too.  It counts as a loss on the stats sheet.  When the connectivity problems are as massive as they are, people end up with lots of losses due to disconnects from AI based games.  That has to be fixed for there to be any kind of weight given to the stats.  Right now its worthless.

2) Vorxther.  Check out his name on the stats page:

Vorxther 0 0 820 0 84,579 minutes 1,469W / 1,374L

The guy has played 84,000 minutes (That's 58 days straight... the game has only been out a month!)  3000 games?  The reason I bring him up is I have been in several games with him and EVERY TIME, I mean EVERY TIME, he disconnects as soon as the game loads (or during loading) and whoever has him on their team is forced to play with AI.  My working theory is he is a bot.

he is a bot. nothing more to say about vorthxer... :x he mostly joins together with nihil (i think). so if u see one of those, quit before even starting the game ^^. i wonder who brought up the feature of bot games at GPG :( .

Yea, if you see any player with a ton of games or time played, then they're likely a bot. 

Also, Vorxther is not the one disconnecting, some other player is disconnecting and Vorxther is replacing that player as a bot.

I assume your dark, since I have been having Lertin & Nacer always appearing ...

Except for them, their panth pages show very small stats (though I have clearly been in multiple games with both of them..)

But with these guys, they actually enter the "connecting" lobby ..

Is this cause the queue is one sided for a while, and so bots are added to get the game going?

Stats are only relative to who you're playing against. Anyone with greater than 66% wins is playing people that are lower than their skill level and despite trying to seek out quality opponents, it's very difficult.

Pro SC players over 66% are considered to be very successful because the level of competition is high. I think you should just ignore your stats because they don't mean anything at the moment.

As for the bots, I'd like it if GPG stepped up and banned people (forever) who abuse the system first offense.

What i find disturbing is, that last patch, we could clearly see who was AI and who was not in the connection lobby (it said "AI Player") under their names, always vorxther and lertin and nacer to name a few. But this feature was removed in latest patch, now it just says the same as every human player(connecting to, connected to, trying to connect to etc...), its like the bots are trying to deceive us into playing with them!

Bots are not ranked, but they do appear in Pantheon/Skirmish games.
