Problems installing Impulse update (solved)

Stuck at "Downloading Impulse update - Retrying"

Since this game has been patched several time since release, I can't play until Impulse updates it. However, Impulse seems unable to install its own latest update, and has been stuck at "Downloading Impulse update - Retrying" for nearly ten minutes. What's going on, and how can I fix it? I'm running 64-bit Windows Vista. Thanks!

I can't check right now if anything's wrong with Impulse, but the installer on the site should always be up to date, so if Impulse doesn't want to update itself, you could always try uninstalling and re-downloading the client from the site (http://www.impulsedriven.com) and it should always be the latest version and won't need to update itself.

Yep, if Impulse can't self-update for some reason, the website will have the latest full installer which should do the job.
