Router upgrade question

I have been thinking about upgrading my router for awhile and my recent ups and downs with DG have spurred the process on a bit.

The upgrade I have ben looking at is the Linksys WRT54GL - very positive reviews, especially paired with third party Firmware like DD-WRT or Tomato.

Currently I have a Netgear MR315 v3 (I believe - I'm not at home right now and am going from memory).

I am wondering how many DG players use or have used the Linksys router (with or without 3rd party firmware).  Has it been a good experience?  I read somewhere in these forums that someone had an issue with limitations within Tomato.  I'll try to find the post for reference but has anyone ele had an issue with either Tomato or DD-WRT?

Any other suggestions to look at?

It's the same model I use, and Demigod gives me no connection issues at all, I don't even have to forward ports and I connect fine to those who can also connect. I don't use any 3rd party firmware for it, though, so can't say anything about that.
