Additional 'Persistence' Idea

I know a lot of players, myself included, like the idea of some kind of persistence in Demigod. Currently, apart from the rather flakey Favour system, the only persistence we have are our Stats and Username, which are fine, however only one of those is viewable in-game.

I was wondering if having an Icon/Medal next to a player's name - such as a Star or some such - that represents a players total Games won might be an added level of persistence, albeit a small one. This would be simillar to the system employed by games like Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, except not experience based.
I thought, originally, that basing it on a players Win/Loss Ratio might work however I think this would lead to further Rage Quits as people try to protect their ratio, and I think watching your Ratio fall as you play more and more games would be rather disheartening. Having it at a pure '10 Wins = Icon 1. 25 Wins = Icon 2' means everyone has something to work towards as opposed to something to 'protect'.

As it's based on Data already collected, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to implement from GPG's point of view and I think it would a little something extra.
