Hosting a game fail

HI, just got the game and yesterday i decided to host my first custom games, but whenever i do and press host

(no password and game has a random port)

it get's stuck, and when i use ctrl +alt+del it says the programm is not responding.

i can join other games without problems, so does anyone have an idea?? and if this was already posted, pls link me to the thread.

no sorry but that is not what i mean, the game locks up before i even get into the game lobby, whenever the screen show where you have to select password port etc. fill in everything and click host it locks up causing me to alt tab and ctrl alt del
