Longer lifespan on Rook towers.
I wish to suggest that Rook's towers have a longer lifespan. I can never seem to get 8 up at a time since they are always either vanishing or getting used.

A lot of people choose to use cooldown reduction items to try to counteract the cooldown and duration on these towers. It often proves to be a very effective strategy.
I think his towers could use a longer duration, but only if you decrease their hit points (or change the way they scale)
I agree, Duration should be extended by at least 50%, and hit points lowered by about 20%.
This would make them less annoying for the opposition as well as increasing the reason to attack them, since they wont fall down by themselves faster than you can pound them down if you really want it.
Yeah, I would like them to have longer duration and less health. At least then it would seem a little more fair when I use towers, and I'd actually be able to get them all up.
towers are powerful enough right now.
Lowering their hit points would make them all weaker whenever you use them, while increasing their lifetime would only bring superficial advantages for a few hinterland towers and only at higher levels.
i think the increase in duration is a great idea... i also find Towers almost useless when it takes around 3 minutes tog et them all up.... and then try to fight and rebuild them at the same time.
there has been many a time that i've trailed tower up there base (to get the fire power from our oen base) only to have one key tower time out, reducing my dps quite a bit. with a longer duration/lower health i think towers might be an actualt viable build for me.
Increase duration, decrease life, and make them vanish when you die.
What about if towers only expire over time when the Rook isn't nearby and nearby towers die when he dies?
maybe that could be a new ability for him? something liek a regen on the lifespan of the tower? call it something like:
"Living Stone" =
prevents summoned towers from expiring while Rook is within 500 m. Also passively increases building regeneration and HP.
You are aware that 500m is larger then most maps, right?
sorry sorry... thinking WC3 map editor here... so 7 m maybe? what ever the range of his little light tower would be maybe a bit longer
I like the idea.
However regarding the Range aspect, considering a range of 20 is TB fireball, a range of 15 is UB spit, and most ranged characters normal attack, i think a range of 30 would be suitable for this buff, to keep the towers alive in his vicinity.
