Rain maps in Demigod or other weather effects

what do you think?

I think rain in games is generally underrated. Especially in RTS games, the lack of environmental effects like rain is lacking in my opinion.

I think it would be nice to have a map in Demigod, which introduces rain or possibly other weather effects.

It gives some variety, a nice immersion and atmosphere to the game.

What do you guys think about this issue?

I think gpg has terribly optimized games, i love rain but it would just add to the lag.

In my experience Demigod runs on a really smooth engine. Sure it lags in some games, but that hasn't got anything to do with the graphics. That's connection problems, so I doubt rain will affect the lag at all. It MIGHT be a bit more demanding thats all.

A Snow Level in a mountain setting would be nice, and probably rain in some Jungle.  Maybe even a level on the coast and during a thunderstorm, random low power lightning strikes on the map.  Damage and stunning for like.2 seconds or something

Good idea. Could actually be very neat, with a mountain based map, since all of the maps already are on this kind of high platform. It would be ideal.

Give weather effects!

My system isn't near it's limit yet, so add more candy :) I usually like weather effects a lot. Saw it being added in WOW and it gave the game a lot more atmosphere.
