Dominate - How to win them?

I mean, seriously.

I get to the 5000 mark well before my opponents, and get to much higher levels faster...

But still always end up losing.

I do fine playing fortress and conquest though, I just need to know how to win 'em dominate games. :'(

I play QoT by the way.

PS: I just lost another dominate game like 10 minutes ago.

i dont know the dominate ruleset but QoT is horrible late game build vs late game build.

Try using flag locks mid-game. You also might want to end the game as early as possible, since QoT just can't compete with other DG late game, something that is going to happen if you depend on the flag score to win.

I play Dominate just like I'd play a Conquest. Focus onmap control and flag deprivation.

QoT is only horrible in the late game because we save everyone else from buying citidal upgrades.  your other players should have some pretty kick-ass gear.  You should have a HoL and a ton of minion stuff as well as some cap locks.  At least the way I play.  You should also be shielding your allies to the max.  If someone starts going to you, just run and let them follow.  Your shield should suffice against any demigod chasing.

Again, QoT should be support, she can't compete with other Demigods near the end of game, but she makes your ally demigods hard as hell to kill and very powerful, making up for her attack weakness.

I want to point out one more thing.  As QoT, should you find a SINGLE demigod approaching a flag, you should be able to hold that demigod from capturing your flag for a good few minutes, depending on when his allies come up.  When his allier come up, it is allowing your teammates to spread out in the other parts of the map.

What attack weakness? She's every bit as fierce endgame as any of the other demigods.  Stop being an enabler when my friends and I play together on team we announce what we are buying when, so everyone knows what's been bought and by whom.

That keeps gold expenditures relatively equal and the QoT with attack enhancers hits every bit as hard as Regulus with the added bonus of being able to debuff others armor...

I guess it depends on the build.  Her main attack is subpar to all demigods though.

I'm sorry but both of you apparently haven't seen a QoT use the shield properly.

Spamming shields on both yourself and your allied DGs will enable you to hold flags and save for a coordinated attack from two other DGs, nobody will be able to put you down.

At its highest level shield can absorb 1450 damage. Any DG with a decent setup can deal that easily late-game.

As for spamming it on your allies I was directly comparing QoT to the other DG without taking allies into account. She can make her allies hard to kill, but the QoT herself is fodder.

Actually QoT is one of the STRONGEST Demigods endgame, simply because skill dmg are dwarfed by the auto-attack dmg late game, due to items. Also, as she has the ONLY money-making skill in the game, she will be richer than others, affording better items lategame. This, coupled with the fact that her auto-attack is ranged (one of the 3 only ranged dgs in the game), and the ONLY DG with SPLASH DMG default on auto-attack (in closed form)...

Sometimes, parking your minions at a flag while you go back to the citadel for upgrades can be very effective at stopping the other side from taking the flag.

Flag locking at the right time or on the right flags can also make a difference.

Observe the teams that beat you and try to see what they did that your team didn't. Maybe they got gold and xp upgrades before you did and thus outleveled you or out upgraded you late game. Maybe they only held certain key flags early game that gave them an advantage late game.
