How to best change Rook Towers.

I think they should give the full presence of the Rook being there. They can cap flags. All damage, kills, gold counts as if he was really there. They have no duration limit.

Then of course we nerf them as a combat thing. I don't think the health is too bad considering their zero armor, but the damage output can be nerfed.

Edit:

And instead of summoning 4-6-8 weak towers, which is really goddamn irritating, we could summon just 1-2 more powerful ones.

I like the idea that the gold and exp they kill goes to you and all, not so much about duration...they should have a limit....and it should be just a little longer than what they are.

With that in mind, they SHOULD be nerfed damage wise...they are just too good as they are now.

And they DEFINETLY shouldnt 'cap' stuff

i would prefer to see an hp nerf than a damage nerf, they don't do so many damages, it is just that when you have 6or 7 of them, it is difficult to take one down and very easy for a good rook to rebuild one.

Crucible also raises problem, it is a bit too powerful on this map, on a 2vs2 with an ennemy doing a tower spam in the middle, the only effective strat was to lock their renforcement flag with erebus and to buy giants (45 seconds without reinforcements for them, both their heroes go to their base to kill the renforcements that were spamming from their portal, during that time, i had pushed our army to their base, destroying the rook towers and their other defenses, so it was game over)

I would say that the towers hp upped, damage down slightly, so that they arent just pointless to build. If the HP is to low, then they might as well not be there at all when the game gets to higher levels. Which would result in a, "Why even put the time into building the skill", thought.

I like the idea of getting xp and gold for what they kill. I think it should be that way with any minion.

I think though, that the as far as the towers go, they need to be able to be placed down a bit quicker. if your putting 6 towers down, you have to be standing there for nearly a minute to do so. Thats a lot of time in combat, for a minion that doesnt follow an enemy, nor hit hit as often. Oak for instance can summon all kinds of ghosts and have them pouncing on you as he wails away. It makes the rooke somewhat weaker than his counterparts.

I honestly only want to see them last forever till killed or if this is asking too much then have each rank summon 2-4 at time. Damage and HP seem ok to me where they are at now. You can get tower damage down to about 80-100 damage with them fully buffed via cit ups and tower of power maxed at 15+ easily so I don't think they are that big of a deal.

there is a cap... its 2/4/6/8 depending on the lvl.  personaly i think the duration should be lincreased a lot and the cooldown reduced.  at the moment its a real task to keep all 8 towers alive at once unless u have heavy support.  i do agree with the HP and damage nerf, but only if they buff the time on them.

compared to a snipe which does 700 damage to someone anywhere on the map, i think towers are alittle bit underpowered.
