thanks for the vid.

i'd love to see more, hopefully a bit different than this one. MK theme makes my head hurt, and is kinda cliche.

Haha MK theme is a classic :D

Once Replays and Observe Mode is out I plan on making some VoD's with commentary.

Observe mode would be awesome, nice vid

Nice little highlight reel. Can't wait for the real thing.

Would anyone be interested in seeing more vidoes with different heroes?

Not to kiss your ass or anything, but there are a few good examples of smart micro in that clip (mostly involving moving to keep a good buffer between you and your enemies.) I watched it yesterday, but if I remember correctly, some of the TB stuff was pretty slick. Always hard to tell how much is skill and how much is luck when you are dealing with a highlight reel format, but I definitely give you the benefit of the doubt.

I am planning on putting together some basic Rook guides with companion videos in the near future. As it is, there is very little footage out there of my stoney friend.

If you were to take a crack at him, I have a feeling that I could glean some valuable information out of it.

Rook and Oak are probably my weaker Demigods but im eventually going to try and be good with them so why not now

If I make any vids with him you will be the first to know :D

I find myself physically leaning in anticipation of a hammer slam or a well-placed incoming fireball.

Sometimes waiting for the announcer is the most satisfying part of game play.

Thats when you know Demigod is truly the game for you :P

how do u get replays again dalzk?

He is capturing the video straight from his hardware. Not using any sort of replay feature. Something like Fraps, probably?

I used Xfire for that particular video.

I had about 20gb worth of videos, but compressed them to 200mb or so via Windows Movie Maker

Does anyone know any other video editing tools that are better then windows movie maker but not near-impossible to use without years of practice?

How much resources does XFire take to record, and how good are the options? I've been meaning to possibly record some Demigod or something at some point, but I remember FRAPS being incredibly resource heavy.

It depends a lot on your resolution. if you have modern enough hardware you will be able to record with FRAPS (at half-size reso) but you might have to do the sub-optimal thing of dropping the in game resolution down a couple when you want to record... depends on the CPU obviously.

I use fraps for mine.

Not resource heavy at all ... unless you count disk space. :)

However, Xfire seems to be free while fraps costs quite a buck.

Sony Vegas Pro 8 (or 9, just came out)
