AI takes over all other players

from Stardock Forums

When I play online eventually all the players are dropped and the AI takes them over.  This has happened many times.  Is this a problem on my end or these?  Also have gotten 4 bug reports than ended in the game closing down.  I will copy the report next time and post it here as well.

Basically everyone lost connection to each other, resulting in each player having his own game against the AI. Whoever wins their game first gets it recorded as a win. Its happened a few times to me. I can't say for sure if it was your end or their's.

Seriously?  Oh well I guess that makes it a bit more fair than just giving everyone a win or loss, but I would prefer it to just NOT count when I drop out because I want to play a human not the ArtificalUNintelligent comp.

I know what you mean. The AI is being made smarter in the next patch but I would prefer that it was gone entirely. But I'll hold off on that complaint until I see how much better the patch makes the AI.

 Yes, one complaint at a time usually works best.  And if that does not work, just ask for your money back.  :thumbsup:

Either you got disconnected from the game or everyone did. Either way, you are better off restarting with real players. AI is not fun to play against.

But to be 100% clear, I've found that in most instances when I see all the other players drop at the same time, it means there is a problem with my connection.  They are all most likely still connected to each other and just saw you drop from the game.  That's probably the case if you find this happening frequently.

Yes from what I have been able to gather, I AM the ONE who is getting dropped.  Which really sucks, espically after you try all the suggestions and after the patches and you are still back to square one.
