Yeah jerks can suck and you'll find them anywhere.  I guess you just got unlucky and had a few bad experiences in a row.  If I ever get online to play (which I will soon, promise).  I'll be more than happy to have a game with you.  Granted I'm not the best player out there since I haven't played MP at all yet, but hey it'll still be fun at least, right?

I've run into a dozen or so jerk-offs so far, but mostly if they get pissy they just quit.

Are you one of those people who didn't bother learning how to play on single player mode and just jumped right into multiplayer?

I am not trying to defend the "ethugs" out there but I think the fact that it usually takes a good half an hour to even get a game started all people want it is a good competitive game. If you add in connection problems and how new players generally leave the game when they start to get farmed people become quite picky about who they let in the game.

Making a post like this after a few days of playing calling out an entire community because of a select few makes you look like the douche.

yeah there are some meanies online. But this community isnt even close to the worst community. The fact that you played DOTA for 5 years, and somehow find this community unbearable leaves me a little bewildered

I played the single player. I don't die much I just don't kill much ether and I never leave. As far a dota gos, there where a tun of jerks but there where just as many helpful players . On the hypocrite comment. I would have to be attacking people unprovoked when what I said was obviously directed at the idiot jerks that attack people because the only thing they do well in life is a game. When I posted this I was very angry because out of 5 games lost, I was attacked by at least one player on my team ranting about noobs sucking even when they had more deaths then me. I held my own in every single game until late game where I need the most work. All I'm saying is instead of being jerks they could offer some real advice. Saying things like, you suck! I hate noobs! and things I will not repeat, is just plain stupid. Also I am sorry for implying the hole community is bad " After all now that I'm here its much nicer " its just I have yet to get a single helpful word from anyone and I don't find it unbearable just annoying. By the way, its nice to meet you all.

Late-game is weird because there is a huge power shift. Towers suddenly become next to useless. Your nukes don't nuke any more. Everybody is suddenly zipping around at ungoldy speeds.

It takes some getting used to.

Personally, I try my best to finsh things around level 15.

it pisses me off when my team mates harass someone who's not doing too well on my team and of course, i don't enjoy getting harassed when I have a particularly bad game either.

Eh, we were all full of testosterone to the brink and thought we were sooo cool online at one point in our lives.  We are invincible over the internet, and we could act badass.  I look back on those days with shame, but I went through it.  :/  I guess I have no right to hold a grudge against them, I just accept it as a phase.
