New problem during installation

When trying to install the game, I am presented with

Runtime error in setup script: Line 490: List index out of bounds (2)

And do not know how to fix it.

After that message pops up the installer closes.

Any help?

If this is from a retail disc, it's likely the disc is just bad, which can happen occasionally in mass production. The simplest solution if you have fast internet is to just install the game via Impulse instead and toss the disc. If that's not an option for you, your next best option is to exchange it at the store for another copy.
