Email notification

While there isn't such an option at present, there is a list of all threads that you have posted or replied to available through the My Posts/My Replies links at the top of the forum.

Yep, it's nice but not as nice to receive an email.

I am pretty sure you guys won't add this option.. but I thought that if I add a post about it perhaps it would help.. lol

I am so used to this option and find it really useful. I don't remind any forum I used (and I use a lot) not having this... but this one.

I will be adding a subscription or "watched posts" system later on.  This will provide an option for email notifications.

If I may suggest something I prefer, when I receive the email, to have the content of the last reply written in the email, including a link to open the topic in my browser.

You can install a PHPbb forum to see how it works. It's free. However this one doesn't include the content of the last reply...

Unfortunately, adding such a feature looks to be quite a lot of work.  I took a look at the code and database, and the complexities behind it are just astronomical.  I'd have to work with the database guy to first modify our existing tables to be able to work with the new additions.  Then I'll have to create a few new tables to hold the data.  Next I'll have to create an admin tool to manage the data, disregarding the security and performance issues that may arise by it.  And that's without the hundreds (if not thousands) of lines of coding I'd have to do.  Sorry, but it just isn't feasible to add a free ice cream with hot chocolate coupon to the email.  That goes double for ice cream space ponies.

As for the "last post read" bit, I'll see what I can do
