Well, I've recently purchased Demigod. I've installed it. When I launch the game, it says: "Unable to create Direct3D. Please check your system's drivers" or something along those lines. I have already looked in the driver section of this forum, and followed the links accordingly. Although I am having trouble updating my drivers. I have managed to download the files, but they don't seem to be working. Any help here? Thanks.
What video card do you have, and what's your desktop resolution? Typically that error is caused by not meeting the system requirements or running in a resolution below 1024x768.
you can download latest drivers here http://laptopvideo2go.com/ and directx runtime http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en
You can go to Start->Run(or Start Search in Vista) and type 'dxdiag' and hit enter. Once everything loads, please click the "Save all information" button and attach the output file (called DxDiag.txt) in an email to [email protected]
@Dash - I'm in the process of doing so. I'll email it ASAP.
@Kryo - I don't know my current driver settings. Anyway I can check using a laptop? As for my screen resolution, it's 1280 x 800.
@Reiluke - I'll try to see if those'll work.
