Demigod v1.01 (1.01.106 on Impulse) is live

In case you have issues updating (like I did), exit impulse and try again.  I actually had to do this 3 times for it to work, but it did.  Here's the changelog.  Thanks Stardock!

Demigod v1.01 (1.01.106 on Impulse)
--------------------------------

+ Made data packet size smaller which should help people whose routers don’t allow such large packets. The
symptoms of this are losing connection to the NAT facilitator or the connection dialog showing that you are
connected to someone but they are not connected to you (or vice versa)

+ Changed the channels some of the messages were being sent on to try to prevent one channel from getting
too backed up

+ Added location awareness to the UDP proxy coordinator so that it can try and pick the best server to use as a
proxy

+ Fixed crash bug when players quit at the same time in the lobby

+ Fixed bug where Demigod would occasionally report that an update was available when it wasn’t

+ Added code to bind on a local IP address to prevent bugs caused by having multiple network connections (i.e.
a wireless and Ethernet connection)

yup, just got into 2 pantheons in a row - this has never happened. Normally there is always 1 person who cannot connect to me, but I can to them... now all is nearly perfect! Cheers SD

Just had my first 'perfect' game of demigod.

EU 3v3 cateract

I'd been having issues connecting to the online system (it took ages) these are gone.

We all had great ping, managed to connect to each other and the game had 0 lag.

and on the plus

We beat a team with reg unclean beast and tower rook and we had none of them woo! (torchy, oak (me) and sedna, so its not like we were 3 QOT)

I hope everyone else is having a good post patch experience...  if so it means you guys from GPG can move to gameplay and balance YAY!

But seriously, gratz on what imho, is a great patch.

Yes, it actually seems to work now. Seems my faith in you guys wasn't misplaced after all :)

Finally time to give your team a pad on the back, Brad. And whip GPG into doing something about the myriad nuisance issues in the actual game.

The new patch is awesome! I hardly have enough time to open the connection info before everything is green or the Pantheon game starts! I think this might be the mother of all patches (at least connectivitywise).

Great job Stardock!
