Just a thought, what if Stardock/GPG previewed a new DG, then started a Pantheon tournament, and the alignment that wins gets the demigod. Put some incentive besides player ranking.

Don't turn this game into WoW where its grind based in any form please. Favor grinding is bad enough for new players.
