The Oak is practically a necromancer - he can raise the dead, take health from the enemies he kills, get powered up by his spirits, not to mention he brings himeself back to life for 10 seconds when he dies. What you're suggesting I know is slightly different - after all, the Oak is also quite paladinish - and you're suggesting one that is more like a mage... but the game already has the elements in your idea.

almost all of the characters are like diablo 2 characters in some way lol. It's not a bad thing, its just that blizzard made a lot of really cool classes in diablo 2 and pretty much used up every concept of magic/swords/armor/bows and arrows that could possibly be used in a game haha

It's almost funny how everyone seems to think Blizzard invented the most generic RPG concepts to ever exist.

Right, but the word "necromancer" belongs already to Diablo. Whenever I read "Necromancer" the Diablo 2 Necromancer crosses my mind.

Well "The Rook", "Regulus" ... are good examples that it's possible to create something new/unique.

Uhh... Vi77u I have no clue how you get the idea "Necromancer" belongs to Diablo. Necromancers have been used in countless Pen and Paper games before Diablo; not to mention the class "Necromancer" was used in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls 1, Arena, which came out in 1994 and that used the class Necromancer. Diablo 1 came out in 1996 which also used Necromancer so if you want to say the class Necromancer belongs to any well known game you could say it belongs to Elder Scrolls series. Not Diablo.

Well neovelamir: The thoughts in MY posts reflect MY impressions and ideas on this topic and it comes to MY mind. I'm not the one who makes generalisations.

you stated, "Right, but the word "necromancer" belongs already to Diablo." In that quote you stated a fact, which is incorrect. I'm just pointing that out.

As far as the original post's idea goes, sounds too overpowered; kinda like an Unclean Beast with Regulus' range and Erebus' minions.

How about something opposite of Oak, like a Dark/Evil version of Oak? similar in combat but look/apprerence different, maybe have a large bloody Sword vs Oak Axe

I would like to see some good counterparts to each of the Current Demigod

I would like to name him ChaoS!!!!!!

I just thought this up so I havent gone into great detail about it.

Just thought that I put that out there and see what everyone thinks?

well all the future demigods would be unique in their own aspect,

a good idea is all that it takes..

Hm, maybe this "solution" is a bit too easy. Up to now, the characters were very imaginative in Demigod. Every character has something unique and was entirely thought through.
