Ban the Quit Bots

from Demigod Forums

Has anyone noticed pantheon games where you start and you are down a player? Or your buddy is a computer? It is due to these quit bots.

I have noticed atleast two of them:

1. Hintani: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/player/17367

2. Nacer: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/player/17396

If Stardock has any power with bans and such, PLEASE ban these accounts. All they do it seems is join pantheon games and then quit before the game starts. They are ruining our community. If anyone else has noticed this?

Ummm...  Nacer is ai.  Nacer isn't an actual person but rather an ai bot added to matches.  I am reasonably sure about this, because he has collect 20+hours/day.  Now this could al be from unfinished matches he quit from, but that would be extremely unlikely.

 

Hintani aveage 22+hours/day.  So don't he is actually human either.

They are real accounts, but if you read my title (ban the quit BOTS), they are bots. But they are not bots from the game (or AI bots), people set these up to join games and then quit them. I have seen both these players in the player preview window when we are waiting to connect to each other in a game.

i had to play with hintani... he hadn't quit but played horrible... bots play much better.

 

If he uses a bot.... that's why :D

 

have him everytime on the phanteon connecting list... i'm real happy i can see it and quit before game starts....

They are not bots, they are IAs(or bots that just enter the game and disconnect) they are completely messing up stats of players and pantheon stats, may be some player just created some quitter bots to loose all the matches and mess pantheon ranking, look the difference in points of good vs evil, is hilarious.

BTW, How do u see the name of the ppl connecting on pantheon?

Click on the little box that says connecting/connections. Usually pops up in the lower right hand corner.

No - my question is how would someone create one to hack the game enough to perform this action. Surely the game syncing checksum logic would catch this???

I'm not too deep into this because i never used some but it should work over mousemovement emulation/scripting. Nothing you can do about except give them a ban

No, they are not real accounts. They are the regular AIs.

Hintani is definitely a normal AI (there's no such matching Impusle account).

Hintani and Nacer are AI just added to games when there aren't enough people on one team or the other for a full pantheon game.  I've seen either of these on both sides of the pantheon forces during the same pantheon.  There is no way an actual account can do that.  Once you join a game for one side or the other you can't switch.
