Loving playing Rook. Not particularly good with him at the moment so any tips gratefully recieved but he suits my play style as a turtler.
One question. I usually concentrate on one Path, securing it, feading off creeps, slowly pushing towards enemy tower, eating that, pushing on etc. It strikes me that this may not be the most effective way to play. A few days back I played a game on cataract where I hung back and maintained a couple of towers on each path rather than pushing one.
It worked quite nicely, I was feeding from multiple paths, and mainly supporting the other two allies rather than making headway myself. I also didn't die half as often mainly because the enemy didn' know where I was. By the time we reached the half way mark our advantage from controling flags meant allies could concentrate on taking down towers etc.
My question is, on balance as Rook, which style do you prefer and when facing a rook which style gives you the most problems ?
