Regulus counter to Lord Erebus

there are non rly. Superior brainpower is what you need. anyway the game is not rlly for 1v1. and there are enugh anti erebus combos in 2v2 or 3v3 with regulus. regulus+beast or regulus+qot can work great

and dont listen to ppl who say you should use parasite egg. they only read item description probably and havent tested it ingame. cause that item sucks donkeyballs

For me mines are the key to beating a decent LE, first try to soften his minion with mines run a bit and wait till he comes in for the bite, throw mines + mark and either run or autoattack... either way he will be slowed really bad so you can do whatever you want. Of course im talking about mid-late game here when you have mines on 4th lvl and a decent hp pool. Fighting  him before that is tough and you should probably stick to your towers sniping/throwing mines whenever you see him running.

Put mines at your feet. Lower level it doesn't help much, but later on they can really screw an erebus who was expecting to bat PAST your mines.

Stack more health? Reg is designed to be squishy, but anybody stacking health can avoid most, if not all, nuke comboes. If you have shrapnel mines, you just run away while batport is on cooldown. If not... hopefully you have a wand of speed.

Hit him with MOB and surround yourself with shrapnel mines. You also need to stack health in order to stand your ground after the swarm/bite combo, as you will probably be too slow to escape, especially if he has mass charm too. If you survive the initial attack, hit him with MOB and mines again. At this point one of you is going die

Maybe knowing how I think will help.

Some Reg's are just downright annoying with the old plink plink run-away crap.

What I try and do is feign a retreat by running away, through my minions. At this point a foolish Regulus will pursue a little getting dangerously close to my minions, that's when I bat swarm back and Bite him.

I usually love playing regulus as erebus.

I use the cloak of the night too so I get an extra tp that doesn't take mana (one issue erebus has is sometimes if you don't gauge mana correctly after the bat swarm you don't have enough for the bite... often since regulus is back by towers this is dangerous because you are often reliant on the bite for enough health to follow through... doubly a problem if you just set off mines)

Anyway, yeah you need to health stack.  bat swarm + bite will take you well passed half health if you don't.  And mines at your feet is always good.  Mines are also good for killing all his minions.

So yeah, let him have the flag.... mine your feet back by the tower... peck him till he gets annoyed... on bat swarm+bite let the mines + tower screw him over...

Oh, and don't bother much with the eye of betrayer.  You're vulnerable when casting it, he can mist it off anyway, and it'll usually kick in during TP+bite when the slowdown part doesn't matter since he's on the offensive and right next to you and you're slow from the bite too anyway and the damage doesn't matter because he just recovered it from the bite.

Thanks for the tips!  I agree that mines on feet work best.  My inital reaction is to always to throw mines at him (as I do with other DGs) which never work on LE.  I've started throwing at my feet which usually do a decent damage on him.  If he then tries to run away, then I snipe (with a tracking device of course) .

next time an LE mists ... throw mines right in the centre of it. to follow it up ... as soon as he gets out, put MoB.

Open with MoB most erebus' will still batswarm into you.

Ya go ahead and waste mana i run minions over mines they explode I batswarm away no damage taken
