[QUESTION] Does setting Towers on High affect Rook?

Just like the topic says.  Does setting towers on high in game options affect the Rook's towers at all?

Rooks towers are only effected by his own skill. The chain lightning effect you see from towers is just for looks and has no effect.

Ok, that's what I thought.  A premade team was really crying at me the other night because my rook was "so gay with towers on high."  I told them it didn't affect it, but they said omg you dont realize what it's like on our end.  I guess they were just noobs. :D

The wiki claims however, that the level 3 shoulder mounts raise tower damage by 1 point. For every tower on your side.
End of quote

Level 3 shoulder (really head because that's the trebuchet) increases damage of the Tower of Light on your shoulder from level 2, but not the Towers of Light that you pull from the ground with Power of the Tower.

The damage of The Rook's Tower of Light is increased.
End of quote

It follows the same pattern as level 2, where adding the Tower of Light increases the damage of the Archer Tower.

Great info guys.  Rook with towers is my new favorite character, just because the other team gets so pissed when I play it, haha.  I had a feeling those guys were making things up when flaming me about having towers set to high in game options, but it's good to know for sure.

Follow up: do the citadel upgrades for towers (+hp/regen and +damage/splash) effect Power of the Tower's towers? (or his shoulder tower?)

They're overpowered enough as it is, especially on cataract and crucible, they don't need this as well.

Towers are only overpowered on Crucible, and that's a design flaw of the map, not the skill.
