Hi! I hope someone can help me with this.

I bought demigod a few days ago and I have trouble playing because I get very bad pings to proxied players.

When I join a custom game I usually connect fine to some people, and get proxied to some. The proxied connections have pings of 600-800 ms, and the non-proxied are usually around 70-100 ms.

In case someone thinks otherwise: a ping of 800 means very laggy gameplay and usually you just get kicked from the lobby.

I have opened all the necessary ports, and checked them with PortChecker, so that shouldn't be the problem. My modem/router is a Thompson Speedtouch, and I have read here that some SpeedTouch modems have trouble connecting and often get proxied connections. I have followed the guides by monk and frogboy, but it hasn't made any difference.

I really want to be able to play this game, so I hope someone can help me.

How do i get faster proxied connections?
I live in Sweden, and I read in a post that there are now european proxy servers. But why do I get so bad Pings when I get proxied? Could it be that Demogod still uses the US servers?
