UI shows on loading screen

I alt-tabbed while loading (music) and my UI showed on the loading screen. I waited for a while but nothing happened (though the loading animation was working, game wasn't frozen).

I also frequently crash when alt-tabbing (I'm greeted to a gray screen when alt-tabbing back and the game gets a fatal exception). I posted the logs before, but didn't get a response. I'll post again if I get a response (I would really like this fixed - being unable to alt tab is annoying as hell when nobody seems to want to join the game lobby).

It seems to be related to the [no text] crash, which often happens without the UI appearing, and it affects everyone who was loading up that game usually.

I have this same exact problem.

 

Any response on wtf its caused by.

Delete/rename Game.prefs file in My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod.

note: It erase all your game settings and saved profiles in single player mode.

I just got this as well. didnt alt-tab and wasn't hosting.

 

I'm sorry but if the game.prefs file is causing so many problems, then there needs to be more validation when parsing it and fix the file if somthing is wrong. basic data input here ppl, this is shit that you would give as a programming assignment in a 1st year coding class.
