Edit: i did indeed jump half a thread. Finding this one was tricky, and in the process, did miss a chunk of info. I was simply elaborating on the stat changes i had made, and they did alter the pace of gameplay, on my part at least. However in reading now, it DOES seem better than 0.03 on paper. I just cant wait to see it in action :)

You may want to go back and read up on the other threads that have been closed. judging from your comments you definate have missing info on the entrenchment version we are preparing.

Apart from a 2 week trip to estonia starting next week I have a lot of free time on my hands until university starts in september, so I'd be more than happy to help with some of the voices and such. Lemme know if you want me to do anything.

If your after a mid 20's British Voice let me know, i can do a good "Posh Queens English" accent too, the type you often see on old empire type films like Patriot and Zulu... after all we always seem to be baddies in the movies! :S

I was hoping for a push today, but unfortunately due to a new balance issue i found with research it cannot be released until this has been adjusted. Stay tuned!

 

Bugs

- Fix needed for torpedo research on klingons

- fix needed for cooldown time in klingon research

- fix needed on quantum torpedoes (nerf)

- fix needed on Nebula torpedo placements (nerf)

- Fix needed on armor upgrades (feds)

- Fix needed on armor upgrades (klingons)

- Fix needed on Fedship yards (need to have repair abilities added)

Beta team,

i need everyone to sync as much as possible and start testing the updates to the research trees for feds and klingons, it will looks the same, but the values have changed.

Currently sovy vs neghvar is an issue, working on the balancing.

Loki, stop any development on borg you currently have in motion and stop any development on research trees for klingon, fed, and borg. I have a new action in place and i need to be the only one working on these atm.

FYI ill be out of it for a while as i have a long work trip ahead. Estimated to be at least 2 weeks. I was hoping to get the fed SB done by then, but RL had other plans.

On it Shimmer, out of curiosity, anything specific you want us to look for? That is if the only thing changing are the values, are we looking for things regarding balancing, ships dying too fast or w/e?

i was wondering if there was a way to make frigs and cruisers to be treated has caps?  i ask this because the Defiant is my favorite starship and i would like to make it a cap instead of a cruiser.

The defiant in the next version will be a capital. As for moving it, yeah you can move it, I don't know how and won't be taking the time to find out as we already moved it for the next release lol.
