Lol, you didn't fix anything. I get crashes all the time and i never even knew you could add skills while dead. Something else is causing the problem and it's a lot of different things. Sometimes ill get the Unhandled Exception crash, the Unhandled Error crash, the crash with no error message at all and sometimes the crash with the message that simply says "Demigod has stopped working, windows is now closing the application"

Congrats you fixed one of the crash problems, now fix the ones that have been here since release

P.S.  You are exaggerating a bit much.  Most people are having crash free play 95+% of the time.

And the people who aren't are crashing 95% of the time. And no i haven't sent them a bug report, but a hell of a lot of people have and the problem isn't fixed. They obviously don't know what's wrong.

You heard about the girl that was murdered with 15 people watching from their balconies, all thinking "someone else must have called for the police already". Guess what, none had.

Send in a freaking bugreport or stop whining about it never getting fixed.

Or even better just wait for the update to 1.1 to be released, since they fixed your problem already. if they havent, send a freaking bug report.

First of all don't lecture me, secondly i've seen with my own eyes the bug reports people have sent so your stupid story can't even be applied to this case. Next, the problem the OP described isn't whats making me crash, however if it gets fixed in the update then ill be happy.

Helios - please submit a bug report.  I do so when I have crashes.  The more info they have, the better the odds of getting the crashes fixed.  If you haven't tried this already, consider deleting the game.prefs file and see if you stability improves.  Failing that, unistall the game in impulse, delete demigod directories, and reinstall.  See if that helps.  Then, ensure you have impulsereactor configured correctly (I've even personally had crashes related precisely to that).

i'd also recommend pinning and locking posts like these so more people can read them and fewer people can use them as a soapbox to whine. 

Just to be sure everyone is doing it right, where do you send  your bug report? and also do you include the mini dump file?

Personally I email Frogboy with as much details as possible with the crash and of course, I attach the dump file with it. (but I guess this is not the Official way of doing it... )

I reproduce alt-tab crashes for personal enjoyment, and it almost feels as if I'm being ignored for personal enjoyment.

I want to call you names, but I don't fancy sharing your ban. And if you don't get one... then the only thing I'll be left to think is that Stardock favor those who are on their side, even if they break the rules. It seems it won't be too long before I mentally rank Stardock and GPG below EA.

All - someone posted this list before, but please do the same if you are having crash issues.

1.     Identify whether any problem you are having is considered a connectivity problem or "other"

2.     If it is a connectivity problem: create a thread in the "Demigod Connectivity Help" forum: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/forum/559

3.     If it is something else, create a thread in the "Demigod Problem Reports" forum

4.     If you really want to help: go to your My Documents->My Games->Gas Powered Games->Demigod folder, zip your ImpulseReactor.log, DemigodLog.txt, CVPMultiplayerEngine_XXX.csv and MiniDump.dmp files, and email them to [email protected]. Make sure you mention the thread title in your email. Even more helpful would be to provide a link back to your thread in the email.

5.     If you really want to help: describe everything about the problem, no matter how trivial it seems, in the thread and the email

Don't really know what to say about you deciding to tell the whole forum how to crash everyone in a game with them.
