DG advantages on certain maps

Different DG's have varying degrees of effectiveness on different maps to the extent that some pantheon games, with equal skilled players, become a rock scissors paper match.

For example, qot on prison is downright brutal.  the shield during the early levels on both of your DG's will allow you to dominate the map till lvl 10, which will win you the game almost every time.  whereas rook on prison is at a severe disadvantage as there is a dearth of buildings.

Tower rook on cataract is ridiculously good.  they also do very well in crucible.

minion erubus vs oak on any map is usually a gg in the favor of erubus.

any other matchups you guys could share or comment on? Lets turn this thread into a strategy, counter strategy, and what to do if you know y oure hopelessly outmatched based on what you see your opponent doing vs what DG you have.

What makes rook bad on prison? His towers can take up half the map and cover both lanes pretty easy.

Yeah a tower rook is pretty good on prison, but you have to be careful- its easy to get stranded in the open and ganked.

I find that tower rook is even more effective on cataract though- the narrow lanes mean your opponents cant go around your tower farm.

Snipe is quite good on leviathin.  You have enough mana to spam it, and can essentially be in 3 lanes at once. Lastly, the walk back to base can be quite long, so your pings can be very annoying.

3 rooks on prison is Ridiculous, some team did that to me when I first started playing the game, towers everywhere lol, was pretty funny.

The best is Erebus in Crucible and Exile. Bat Swarm allows you to jump over chasms which drastically reduces travel time.

Tower Rook in Crucible is also very brutal.

Ooze/Spit UB on Leviathan is pretty good. The HPS and MPS flags let you run both really well.

Leviathan is sniper land.

I wish they had put more thought into the maps, but im content with what we've got, I don't think any map caters to certain demigods over others.

I thought that was Mandala. :P

Rook on prison is very very good. It means that he can hold the middle flag and the two lanes ajnd provide a "safe"haven for his teammates, holding the other two flags becomes a lot easier then.

I once saw Sedna on Cruicible jump into the Lava, swim to our Citadel and destroy it before we knew what was what!

I'd.. er.. show you the replay but it didn't save correctly. *_*

ok ill try tower rook on prison again.  the prob i ran into was they could just go around yout tower since there were no lanes .

The proximity of the towers in Zikurat in the beginning creep alnes inherently lends some early benefit to the ranged demigods, and the two maps with passable BatSwarm gaps are a huge boon for Erebus.
