Pantheon XP totally messed up ? Or just random ? +Devbash

I would really like to know how Pantheon XP is working. I mean i have 12-6 stats wich isnt great i know, but there are people over my rank with 1-2 stats ?

It looks to me like its totally messed up, like the rest of the game :P

Tell me if i m wrong here and if there is a certain formula to how ranking works.

I think this game is seriously lacking a good matchmaking system and competitive play.  I mean the devs seem to spend more time on a stupid stats site instead of simply figuring out a better ladder and MM System.

It cant be true that 75% of the games in so called tournaments include KI.

 

Sometimes i really loose faith in the gaming industry and devs. This game could be good, would take a few days and some testing to figure out balance.. Just add bountys to the spawned minions, build a good ladder. Figure out a MM for 2on2 and 3on3. And there you go.

This game should be about the heros, not about who the hell spawns freaking giants first or stupid currency upgrades.. And wtf some heros spawn about 10 minions +item minions and you dont get gold for killing them.

Place 5 in pantheon has 55-4 stats and place 4 has 4-0 (something like that).

Seriously it makes no sense whatsoever...

the won/lost ratio is only one half of the equation, the ranking of the opposing team compared also plays a major role, so if someone plays only 2 games, one against average players where he is defeated, and one against top players where he win, he will have a very good ranking, despite his 1/1 stat.

There seems to be some bugs, for example, not all games are correctly reported on the stat page, but i don't know if the rankings are reliable or not.

The rankings/XP calculations make about as much sense as Bill O'Reilly.

Yes its seems all fucked up; and i dont even think its worth playing path anymore. I just keep playing the other two game modes; depending if i want random or pre-made teams

Well i guess i should just leave it alone and touch it in a few month again. Custom games are too easy to rig, we never loose if we join as a team its boring. I even read some have few 100 wins in a row bashing newbs.. I mean custom games shouldnt even be shown in the stats tbh. That mode should be only good for fungames or ESL type games.

It helps free you up to play other toons. With Erebus I can farm wins all day but it gets mighty boring. With the ladder messed up the way it is I don't mind blowing my rank having fun interesting games with worthless toons like QoT and Torch Bearer. The Fun toons are so dependant on good teammates as they can do very little to make up for a bad one where as with an OP toon like Erebus you can easily do the work of two even against fairly well skilled opponents.

Ride the wave brah the game is meant to be about having fun more so than sitting on top of the ladder.

Hm i play TB only. I think hes pretty "ok" to play if you know how.. Yea some heros are obviously to good but oh well, i think the mayor imbaness are summoned minions not giving gold on lasthit.
