We need a build calculator

When on the forums you see alot of ppl suggesting builds and equipment. Its hard to compare as you have to get in the game and start checking the stats of the DG.

I have been using www.demigoddb.com but hasn't updated in while (before 1.1) and it has other minor issues (can't link to a build, abilities are not added in the stats calculator...)

This is a call out for the community to help in this area...

i am not sure that a build calculator is really needed for demigod: you can't just use a stardard, predetermined build but have to adapt to the situation during the match. demigod is not a mmorpg where you can plan your level 100 build at level 1.

Yes, but calculating, for example leveling, item, abilities effects is veru useful.

Also I can't say you don't need to predetermine build.  It's good to have a predeterminerd build in mind, you have basis and corrcting it during the mathc depending on situation.

I use www.demigoddb.com, but, sadly, it hadn't been updated for long and doesn't provide full information.

I really hope Stardock/GPG will run such a calculator.

Make one yourself, all the info is in the lua files. SD are highly unlikely to make one for you.

This is a game of teamwork not statistics, you rarely need exact values for stats to know if something is good or not.

A build calculator is definelty community content terriroty. I wouldn't expect the developer to provide one.

Strongstar...The Op mention Demigoddb in his OP and in reply above yours..... ;P

I use demigodDB often, and it is a great way to flesh out a build, but nothing can really replace game experiance. Being able to adjust a build on the fly is the cornerstone of every tough win and being able to do that only comes from playing.
