Tournament: 3v3

Since there is no official tournaments taking place, i'm going to be starting one for us. I will need some additional help as I plan to take this to the next level, and setup an application driven website where we can post results.

I'm hoping to have a tournament within two weeks from now without the bells and whistles, and old fasioned with the results posted here. This will be DEFAULT settings on Leviathan. Any interested parties should make their entries as a reply to this post in this format.

Current plan is Sunday July 26th at 4pm CST. If you signup and cannot make it, please give more than a priors day notice as we may be able to work somthing out. Failure to show will count as a forfeit, with possible exclusion from future tournaments.

Leviathan, huh.   :|

Kudos for putting in the effort to get a player-driven tournament started. I'd be willing to help set this up, and my team would of course love to participate. I don't yet have any hard information on our availability for the specific time you listed, but I'll post again when I know more.

If there is enough interest in another map such as cataract, I will change it. I personally think Leviathan has the most interesting matchups due to the mp/hp flags (my opinion, I know). This is of course only one of many tournaments to come, which I hope to increase the frequency to at least bi-weekly.

Thats a great idea, if they become a regular occurrence then people can plan on them and work their schedules to make sure they're available at a specific time every other week. Participation would surely increase.

Kudos to you for starting it but I don't think I have enough time to devote to Demigod for a tournament scene, unfortunately.

Nor do I think I'm 'good enough'. :)

Samaliel and myself might be interested, will see how events pan out leading up to that date.  Maybe I can convince Starkiller18 to join us ;)

Everyoen is welcome to participate :) it will most likely be single elimination rounds with maybe 2/3 for a final. I havn't decided yet, depends on how many we get.

ESL is complete shit.

Maybe do a map rotation for this tournament. Round 1 Prison Round 2 Cata Round 3 Levi.. etc.

Bump- seriously suprised at the lack of interest.

Where are all the other American premade teams? I know you're out there.

You would think the "big names" would jump at teh chance to finally prove their skill. Maybe they're scared?

What's the incentive?

Good games, test of skill.

Oh, and a challenge maybe for once in this game?

I don't like a challenge though!

Alright, I'll bite. But I don't have a p team. Assuming my work schedule allows me in on Sunday (Normally they do, but I've been filling in hours lately: Retail means I'm never sure when I'll get called in), I'm willing to play... but I'd need a team willing to accept me, haha.

Have an Australian premade all on good connections, we can play against US ppls but not European (400 ping == bad).

4pm CST on a Sunday is like 6am on Monday for us though. We could play on your Saturday at something like 10pm CST if you want to work something out.

How about 8pm sunday?

good idea, unfortunately my play time is only 9pm pst on, precludes me from a lot of the nice activities people set up in online games :-(  I hope to see this go well though, maybe some late night tourneys will come hehe.
