I have some point i'll like to talk ( not bash) with you guys.

It seems frogboy (that I respect a lot) think that things are mostly balanced. I think hes not 100% right. There are issue.(verry little I think it only need some changes in numbers thats all)

For example. When I play with flurus, most of the time we check the character that the other team are getting to have a better counter.

I think that if everything was balanced for the demigod in normal situation, we shouldn’t really have to make that choice and we only take are favourite demigod.

I know for now that sedna+erebus is a powerful combination and also sedna with beast ( those 2 are the character we take when we need max power ; mostly when the other team have similar demigod or simply because the other guys are like 200win 0 lost in the stats.)

And for the items, I think it could be good to set the casting time of a FLAG LOCK to 10 sec instead of 1sec.  Capping a flag can be deadly and also as many may know, in cataract you can tele/lock and the other cant do anything about it.

With 10 or even 5sec I think its good. 1sec is insane.

 

Also am I the only one thinking that if you do 1vs1 , general tends to be better assassins  ?? Get sedna monk and heal and you’ll blow everyone at lvl 1

Also Keep in mind im not a verry good player. I consider me above average thats all. so im no pro and may be wrong on some of my statement above. Feel free to comment about it.

For the balance, dont take me wrong, I think the demigods for a game thats only have 3 month is greatly balanced. Only need few changes in numbers imo and for items prices too. there are some item that nobody buy because of price or simply because they are useless.

Le dernier fois que j'ai examiné les préferences pour la langue en jeux il n'y a que l'anglais et le russe. Depuis que j'ai l'édition de l'Amerique du nord peut-être qu'il n'est pas possible?

(le français n'est pas ma premiere langue donc je doit pratiquer lol)

Having characters that have 'natural ennemies' is not a balance problem in my opinion, it is only normal. And you will always have characters that have a good synergy and have to make some choices. If all demigods were able to take any role and to match up with any other demigod it wouldn't be a team based game.

There are some balance issues, mostly on crucible: a tower spamming rook is a pain on that map, and Erebus should'nt be able to cap your flag with his bat swarm.

10 seconds seems a bit too much, how about this: you use the lock, it has a instant cast BUT you have to recap the point (and it takes between 5 and 10 seconds) to lock it for 1 minute. If an ennemy is on the point, the cap halts, and you have to kill him/make him flee to make the capping restart. I just don't like the idea of having to stand arround while waiting for a bar to be full, at least with that system, you will be able to fight during the locking.

If after 20 seconds the point is not capped, your loss, the lock is canceled and you don't have your flag lock back.

And for the "natural ennemy thing" ya its minor, I’m not really complaining about the balance of the demigod really. Im only sad that if we do a 2v2 and all player are verry good player, I’m kinda  forced to take some demigod in particular to beat some demigod combo.

In other words, I would like to have still all my chances even if I take random.

 

And yes a spamming tower rook on cataract can push 2 demigod in the beginning. This is a bit unfair imo but is demigod "supposed" to be fair? is it more a counter game?

I don’t really know now.

 

Things I would have liked a lot in demigod is apart from favor item, having equipments only for assassins and equipments only for generals. But I’m not the one taking decision so....

This will have as effect to have more minion control based equipement for general and those general could play less like the assasins one...

This will also at a lot more new items to the game O:)

The cast time for flag locks is okay, and if it were longer people would just start it earlier.  Plus 10 seconds is really a long time to be casting something.  Instead there should just be a "lock immunity" on flags after the current lock expires, so that warping in a relocking then running either back to your crystal (if you're defending) or just running away won't work -- you'd actually have to drive away anyone who's there if they're waiting for the lock to expire.

The lock immunity could also begin as soon as the lock is placed since half the players go and waste locks on already-locked flags because nothing tells you it won't extend the timer.  So it could just prevent the use of another lock on a flag from the moment the lock is placed to however long it takes to contest it afterward.
