5k hp at level 5

Saw an UB with 5k hp the other day. He didn't have any kills yet, besides creeps and one tower.

How is this possible? And how to beat him 1v1, or even 2v1?

blood+boots+haubert = +2200 HP. have a flag with +15% and ure HP pops to 5k :) His weakness is he doesnt have armor so all u have to do is concentrate fire. 1v1 is not easy, but 2v1 should do it if he doesnt get help

Cataract?

UB + Blood of the Fallen + Banded = 2750 HP, IIRC., at level 1. Health flag on Cataract will push that beyond 3k baarely, and at level 1. Level up a bit and your health goes up, aand you've also got gold. Let's assume Hauberk and Unbreakable. I've had those by level 5 before while playing UB, admittedly I did get a kill, but a tower is still 300 GP. That's another 675 (Hauberk. Not available to look in game atm) and 600 from Unbreakable. That should seal the deal, I think.

HP stacking is very easy. I didn't even touch if he has a Sigil of Vitality.

Why HoL and not Nimoth?

HoL has +10 regen which for a HP build is far more important early, when people don't have high damage abilities :)

Nimoth is vastly superior, except in the case of a minion build.

Hauberk is 100 extra hp and 10 hps. Nimoth gives you 750 armor AND 250 gold. This is a no brainer imho, since getting scale mail will get your armor to 2k. 2k armor is 44 mitigation or 80 percent extra modified hp. Without high damage abilities most dmg comes from AA, so in practice you get way more hp than Hauberk AND you spare a few coins.

Regen sure helps for UB + Ooze though...

He could also have used a Sigil, and started with 3300 hit points. 5k at level 5 isn't that ridiculous actually.

Blood of the Fallen

Banded Armor
Unbreakable Boots
Hauberk of Life
Nimroths Armor
later on - Narmoths Ring

Typical Ooze UB build.

Try to kite with spells from a distance, unless he has spit as well, then you're pretty much screwed.
Don't even think about going 1v1 in melee range.

Nimoth is way better than Hauberk. Yes, for Ooze Beast too.

I agree, I was just going for raw HP numbers for his theorycraft.

Quoting cwsault,
Regen sure helps for UB + Ooze though...
End of cwsault's quote

When I play Ooze UB I don't keep the Ooze up 24/7. Even if my health reg is slightly lagging behind in that I take, say, 5 hp/s damage while the Ooze is up it won't do as much damage as is being mitigated by the armour that Nimoth has provided that you use the Ooze only while fighting against someone.

why all the arguing when you can just take both items lol

It can matter when you need to pick which one to take first, though.
