So far in DG I've only really played custom games. On the forums I've heard a lot of people talking about pantheon so i tried to join one. Every time I go into pantheon I'm ALWAYS the only one there. But the teams are still getting favor points so someone must be playing...

 

Im usually on anywhere from 3-11pm us eastern time. Am I going on at the wrong time or is somethinge else going on?

If you mean the little connection box saying you are the only person in the queue, yeah, thats broken.
Ignore it and watch as you get matched up with 3-5 other people as if by magic.

Pantheon still has issues - there is NOTHING to stop a game starting with unbalanced teams (I got put with an AI in a 2v2 - grossly unfair) AND there is no QoS checks - I have been put in games with people with a ping of 600+ to me. I am in Australia, so I suspect they are in Europe... A ping of 350 odd is fine. Over 400 and it is a slide show. There needs to be better balancing...

If you get teamed with an AI, you can concede at the start of the game and the game is not recorded.

I use Xfire and its ingame overlay has a browser, so I just load up opengames.asp and refresh that to watch the queue in action.

It's a bit annoying to see it in action though; yesterday I watched as people piled into the queue and it eventually made a 3v3.  I was still waiting and got put in a 2v2 several minutes later, but I was the very first person to join the queue.

Well that makes sense if the system is trying to make competitive games.  I just don't see too many competitive games.
