Questions for more experienced players.

Quite simply, some stuff i don't know and would like to see whether other people do? Mostly it's oak related questions, as ive found him more enjoyable to play then regulus. :)

1. Do oaks spirit wards use the same "souls" as nightwalkers?

Had a 2v2 panth fortress, 2 oaks vs 2 erebus minions. Stumbled upon the fact that the erebus was not gaining as much of an army when the soldiers were being converted into our spirits. So spammed the multiple(4, which gave off extra aoe armour later) spirit wards around the place as a counter to this. We eventually won, as they didnt focus as much on investing skillpoint in survivability. Pretty fun game.

So any truth to these thoughts, or just idle fancy?

 

2. Is it only level 3 shield or over that cannot be interupted?

I'm pretty sure a lvl 2 shield stopped an interupt before, but i might have bene mistaken.

 

3. Does rooks god strength upgrade give him cleaving ability? If so how much?

Whilst i originally thought rook had cleave from the start, it sorta looks like he only gets it after god strength.

Does more god strength grant more cleave?

 

4.  Do tower damage upgrades or building hp upgrades stack?

Or is it like the +gold/per second upgrade and is non cumulative?

 

5. What are the effects of a trebuchet shot other then the damage?

Is it a slow, or a mini stun?

1. I wondered about this myself too, but I never saw a nighwalker and a spirit spawn from the same creep, so this may well be possible. 

2. I heard a lot of conflicting stories, but I dont believe rank three gives interrupt immuny, atleats stuns goes torhugh(foul graps)

3. He gets cleave with godstrenght I, higher levels dont give anything IIRC.

4.Non cumulative

5.DMG only.

Spirts and nightcrawlers will spawn from same creep. Two Erebus in same lane = totally random and often unfair for one.

#3 Shield rank level III prevents interrupts including foul grasp.  I typically play oak with teleport favor item so when i'm playing against UB i cant wait to get my shield III lol.  I also usually dont get spend any additional skill points in shield after level III. 

But then again my record kinda blows so I wouldn't listen to me about strategies :)

I'm pretty sure that's wrong. I looked at the lua files, and I didn't see it anywhere.

3. Rook gets cleaving attack when his weapon damage is above 250. (source: HRook_Script.lua in Rook directory)

This includes bonus from items.

So level 5 rook without godstrength but with slayer's wraps can do cleaving attack.

Cleave strength does not increase further.

edit: Cleaving attack in this context is aoe instakilling creeps, not aoe damage.

Interesting. Do any other demigods have damage effect threshholds like that?

The QoT in closed form has a built in cleave attack as well...I have hit 4 or more creeps at once at times with her...

Yeah, I've noticed Queen's closed form mini-AoE. Another strike against actually using open form beyond Ground spiking and closing back up, I suppose.
