My official copy of Demigod cd key can not be recognised by the impluse!

I have bought a Demigod cd key, but when i tried to register it with
the impulse, every time i got such wrong message:
" The serial number you have entered is not recognised by Impulse.
Only serial numbers provided by Stardock will be accepted.
Please check your selected product,emailaddress and serial number, then try again, (ref:2)"

What's wrong with my key? And what should i do now?

Have you make attention to I, 1, O and 0 when entering the serial key?

this happened to me the other day when installing sword of the stars. after i'd typed up my report i thought best to check again, this time actually opening up the registration page in impulse (before i'd only confirmed the email details), after seeing the correct code there i tried to install again... voila!

could be the auth server is a little funny sometimes =/, try again
