Possible Bramble/Uproot synergy idea

People dislike uproot because it adds nothing to her ability pool. So, why dont we make uproot link to bramble shield.

All uproot damage regenerates that much damage to the amount any current shields absorb. So as an uprooted building loses damage, all bramble shields regenerate their power. Giving bramble shield more staying power and making Uproot more viable as an option?

Thoughts?

All Shields regenerating the same amount of damage as Uproot deals:

For just 2 Shields and 2000 Uproot damage (without Compost) that would mean that each Shield would maximally provide 3450 damage reduction, resulting in 6900 damage reduction for 840+840+905=2585mana (2,67 damage reduction per mana, which is about the same for Sedna's Heal when you also calculate armor damage reduction).

Your Idea is good, but would probably be overpowered for more than 2 Shields...

the concept is wat i like. Although stats and effects will have to change i think.

maybe somethin like ... when uproot is active, anyone with brambles on them, recieves 30% less dmg to their shields.

this just gave me a thought for compost also to synergise with brambles.

compost I, II - when brambles is cast on an ally, for 8 secs after that, they recieve 10/15% less dmg.
compost III - when brambles is cast on an ally, for 6 secs after that, they recieve 30% less dmg.

WHY?

this would be a good counter for team spikes on you. instead of spamming it at late levels, it would require timing to survive late level spiking. I dont think it would be overpowered as it requires preparation for this to be very effective (time it takes to build up compost).

This could be a unique trait for Qot.

This is a good idea but could use tweaking because, like previously stated, it could be over powered due to the staying power it would provide.

I didnt mean that the shield would store the damage, but would regenerate back to its 1200 damage maximum etc.

Way too powerful... 200-300 damage a second going back into the shield means unbreakable shield...

As a single demigod is gonna not be able to bust it at all... add in priest heals and mulching + reshielding... and you have an unkillable wonder...

not really, all heroes base damage without items or skills at lvl 10 average DPS from auto is slightly under 200 (reg), plus without cooldown reducers it can only be cast every 15 seconds. That said if it was to be implemented I think 50% of damage returned to shield would be fine.
