Griefers

Had the displeasure of encountering my first griefer. He decided to join the game and immediately go AFK. When he returned to my annoyance he laughed and said he'd be back towards the half way mark of the game and had another laugh. What purpose would this serve? I discovered his only purpose was to ensure the dark-side lost in the Pantheon. This is apparently a coordinated effort. I discovered that him and 2 friends only join games if they see each other in the connection screen. They use a double REG setup with some sort of lightning favour item to nuke the lone man out. Thanks for the great game Chanchos, ErgoProKun, and andius!

Sorry you had a bad experience (we all have :)).  Take a screenshot next time.  There's a hall of shame thread.  Joining a game, going AFK, and then indicating "he'd be back later" definitely qualifies IMO.  But - no screenshot and it didn't really happen.

Here's the record of the game http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/817869/player/74263/

Well defenately lame, sorry it happened, i've had someone go afk in a match but never on purpose. Like they said get a SS and post it in the Hall of Shame next time so the community can shun them.

What you'll soon find more annoying than that is beating  good premade with your PuG only to have them all quit as they're about to lose and the game does not get recorded at all :( its a real heartbreaker.

Oh, I've had that happen. Very frustrating. I wish there was some sort of built in game mechanic to vote against griefers to have them removed but we all know that has potential for abuse as well. I believe I got a screenshot of my teammate saying he was going afk and that he'd be back mid-match(never showed up!). I'll see if I can find it.

Edit: I have no proof that this happened. I was foolish enough to copy something after taking my screenshot. I suppose my point is invalid but I'd at least watch out for these guys.

Sorry to call you out, but I believe you are the Jefedesign who couldn't get along with his teammates, so decided to purposely suicide the rest of the game costing his team the loss.  Don't feel sorry for you at all.

Just like people said to Jefedesign, provide a screenshot or it didn't happen.

I was on opposing team, so didn't affect me, just thought it was funny that he was crying.
