Sleight of hand would be too game changing. Can you consider changing that and breaking bank to a less powerful move. Something that doesn't involve money or at least not as much. Breaking Bank maybe could take down the death money by half but not all of it.

I don't really like the idea of a stealth-based demigod.

Complete invisibility would be insanely overpowered. Imagine this: I'm dueling another demigod. It's a pretty even match but I think I have the upper hand. Then, BAM. 1500 damage and a 2 second stun from nowhere. Now I'm being double teamed with little hope to escape, since Master Assassin Whats-His-Face is faster than me. He might even steal some of my gold while he's at it. How could I possibly have countered this?

It would be even worse in large fights with multiple demigods and minions/creeps on each side. I think we've all been killed at least once by an Erebus or Regulus who was too small to notice under the massive pile of battling creeps and minions. Imagine that, except on a routine basis.

Not only that, but Master Assassin Crazy Name eventually becomes invisible even to towers? If that's the case, then what is there is stop him from simply waltzing into the enemy base and taking portal/gold flags completely uncontested? You could teleport in to stop him, I guess, but a single demigod really shouldn't be able to take flags inside the enemy base until most of the surrounding infastructure has been destroyed.

It could work, I think, but this demigod's ability to stealth needs to be severely limited as not to be overpowered.

Just out of curiosity, what Mtg card is that pic from, I used to play Mtg soooo long ago, it's been like 7 years.

Anyway, as for the actual character, you need to put more information for the abilities, cast time and cooldown.

Invisibility is an idea I'm sure many people would hate, and this skill would need to drain WAAAAAY more than 15 mana a second at level 1, more like 75 or something like that.
Backstab is extremely overpowered, especially at level 4. 1500 damage + 2 second stun for 600 mana? Lower damage by half or something.
Need a range limit on Seek and Destroy, if it had like a 50 yard range, that would be OP.

I agree with the first poster that Slight of Hand is a really bad idea, 40% gold steal is ridiculously OP, gold steal would be a really bad mechanic at all, unless it had major drawbacks or was really situational. Breaking bank is a bad idea too.

So in conclusion, almost everything there is overpowered.

Invisibility could be abused way too much, especially if you can use items in it, and a stealth based demigod would be a bad idea, unless they could only go invisible for like 5 seconds.

Bus ~ the MTG card is from Royal Assassin from I believe 9th edition forward.

So scratch the gold steal- I thought it would be an ok-its different but my focus was on having this dg severely hindered by its mana, lets say I raise the mana cost on all of these just enough so all this dg could posibly do is go invisi for 5-10 seconds and would have to use a huge amount of mana for the 1 damage ability, leaving my demigod completely out of luck if I didn't get the kill now I have to either use mana potion to escape or hope my speed will do it. I never said what lvl these abilities would be accomplished at so 1500 damage and a 2 sec stun at lvl 15 is not really that abusive. I say if you can get this guy to lvl 15 in a game you are accomplished since overal he has weak armor, low health, and low mana. I'll rework him later, do the actual math and see if i could balence him out.

this reminds me of a character in ragnarok.

although some skills r overpowered, but stats r so easy to change anyway.

not bad idea ... but i dunno..

It's not a bad idea but the fact that most of the items are STATIC increases means that regardless of wether or not he starts with 1k mana or 2k mana he could still increase mana by 2.5k reletively easy and 1k to 2k would be a HUGE leap but 3.5k to 4.5k isn't as much. Same with health and armor. Everyone starts with low armor and extra 5% isn't going to do much. Backstab and invisibility are great ideas but towers should NEVER stop uncloaking him. Observer ward would uncloak him as well.

Maybe sleight of hand could be something cooldown related it would make sense. I'd say it could do a small DoT maybe 200/400/600/800 over 8 seconds or something and increase current cooldown by 2/3/4/5 which effectively is a 2/3/4/5 second silence. And interupt as well.

Seek and destroy isn't that good of an idea because it would uncloak you and you wouldn't be able to use backstab as well. If you are invisible why don't you just sneak up next to him anyway instead of warping 20 yards to him. Maybe have it as some ranged attack with a slow tacked on. It would be minor damage and would have a decent range. It mostly would be like a static low damage snipe with a slow. This could help him get the finishing hit on someone. Damage could be 150/300/450/600 or it could be the level 5 skill where it goes 225/450/625 with maybe 30-35 yard range with a 25% slow for 10 seconds.

This has potential.

thanks xaviors for coming up with alternatives instead of saying its overpowered and leaving it at that. I like the idea of slight of hand reflecting cooldown maybe an interrupt. seek and destroy doesn't require you to be invisible or not and you don't lose it after you have warped. but my main argument agaisnt what you said is the static cost, yeah you can raise his mana, and yeah you can raise almost all stats but that requires gold and usually lots of it. and being relitvily weak in the begining you have to rely on assists or a steal.

Which this guy is absolutely amazing at because invisiblity. Sure early game he would be kind of crappy but if he farmed right and had SOME feed he could become the ultimate killsteal.

I see seek and destroy just REQUIRES you to be invisible i thought it ended your invisiblity my bad. Depends on it's range though because if it's larger than 30-40 yards it would become insanely OP.

For any of you that has played Dota, this character has a resemblance to the assasin. In Dota he was able to be permately invisible after lvl 6 and when he atacks he becomes visible and stays visible for 10 sec after last hit to start. All towers and buildings could see him and you could buy a item to see him as well. He was a glass cannon, if he became visible in the wrong spot or got trapped in battle, he was easy to take down. I love the idea, he was a good character in the right hands.

About time I see a good stealth character. I'm a little worried that all his active abilities require him to be invizible. Maybe make Seek and Destroy able to be cast whilst vizible. 1500 instant damage is a bit much, I think. Maybe tone it down to 1250 or 1300. Also, write some extra info about the spells, like the cooldown time, cast time and so on.

Love the gastly appearance. I can just see some poor DG trying to land a killing blow and then getting a big surprise. Definetly would like to play this guy. Take a look at my DG, Zan'Dur, if you have the chance, btw.

The teleport to enemy seems overpowered quite easily. As others have said, most the abilities seem very OP, and if you look at other classes in the game in relation to their abilities and damage, what you've listed uses little MP for a lot of damage and abilities.

I'd say change slight of hand to an ability that places an explosive on the enemy that is basically a delayed attack and combining that with a combo of sorts. There does need to be attacks he can use out of invisibility. For instance a deep slash or stab ability which would cause damage on impact and cause bleeding damage a DoT.

Invisibility should suck more mana then that, as that isn't much, especially at the higher end and towers should also see you, as well as goggles and the ward. A potentially better stealth would be to only become partially visible at close range to DGs, so they don't see you coming to flank them or anything, but by the time they see you they have little time to react, but can still see your there. I'd hate to have one of these guys sit next to me completely invisible while I kill an enemy DG only to have him kill steal since the other DG had no idea he was there or any of the other DGs.

now with the new demigod being announced most of those skills seem not so powerful anymore.. seek and destroy and backstab all in one, and shadow step hmmmmm..

back to the drawing board for this idea!
