Unable to see anything on the map.

Starting up the game I have no problems. Created an account and patched it, but when I start a game, Skirmish or Tournment, I can't see any buildings or units, just the map, the minimap, and my characters health and exp bar. I can move the character around, fight and level them up, see how much damage they're doing, but I can't see what I'm fighting. Any suggestions?
