clearly visible glow around all DG's

this has come up a bunch of times, no solution has yet been implemented.

im tired of reg or ereb hiding in a throng of creeps or inside a trojan rook

when there is alot going on i often miss some small dg in a bunch of other mobs.

please give the option to enable 'huge-red-glow-on-dgs-only' (tm) option, so that all enemy DG's would always glow big and red, and all friendly ones big and green.

I don't think this is a terrible idea and I'm sure once modding is enabled this wouldn't be too hard to code.

Honestly, I love the hiding within minions tactic. Always awesome getting someone not paying attention to the creeps. I see it as an advantage/disadvantage of the Demis.

I think the control key to filter out creeps in selection highlighting can be improved by causing all DGs to be highlighted in the same way when you hold down control.

They outline red when you mouse over them... Even in a bunch of mobs I can see an enemy there or coming, guess some people are better at picking it up then others. I don't think this is a problem and doesn't really need a fix.

Crying about the god in the pants trick?

Do what I do.  Think in maxwell smarts voice.  AH The Old Demigod in the pants trick... followed by 99's OH MAX :p

The visuals on this game really are excellent. If GPG were interested in this idea I bet they could implement it in a way that would look pretty cool if your computer had the specs to display it.

I'm also surprised to see so many people opposed to the idea of it. The code is already there if they just did something simple like a basic outline and I assume it'd be an option you could disable.

You might even be able to work it into balance considerations. For example on left 4 dead the survivors have a glowing outline so the infected can track them, but the survivors can temporarily disable the outline by moving slowly and not firing. If there were an item or a DG with an ability which could temporarily disable the outline it could be a fun mechanic.

god please yes. nothing worse than suddenly having 3 demigod hitting you in a swarm of minions/creeps when you thought you had one. they should always stand out.

They should put ally DG avatars on your screen as option.  For example the left side of your window will show your Allies and their health.  Press F1 to select the first DG and so on.

Usefull to see when they are in trouble (especially for support DG's).  Maybe you can toss a heal or a shield.  Trying to click on them during a battle, not to mention, they can be block by a rook, makes it hard.

Yea trying to hit an erebus while he's playing pocket pool in the rooks trousers is always difficult.

General Minions have to walk around the creeps, perhaps demi's should have to walk around other demis?

oh also as of note:

"this has come up a bunch of times, no solution has yet been implemented"

Don't berate GPG too much, they're obviously still working on making the game better.

I agree with this - there needs to be some kind of marker making it obvious where the DGs are. I also think that there should be some kind of balloons showing what debuffs are working on enemy DGs instead of (or in addition to) the current 'magic' animation graphics.

That would be great, letting your team know which enemy is lowest atm, and who's in the most trouble on yours, because often, you can't take the time to type "Help me @ _____" if you're alone and need help :P

yes!

as a sedna ive healed myself instead of an ally dg at the same spot as me tons of times. it automatically prefers myself as the target instea of an ally. avatars would improve healing functionality immeasurably.
