Demo crashes a LOT

i really like the concept , but i would like to be able to play the demo without crashes every 10 mins

I really liked this game reading from magazines , following online etc, but atleast the demo needs to play right for me to even think about buying this game.

in past 3 online matches i have crashed out twice. Twice i had an error and app crashed while trying to join a game.

is there a decent demo build that i can play ?

I too had quite a few crashes in demo as well. I can't play Erebus(application jsut closes halfway through the game), nor can I host MP match(Game crashes right after launch).  I have specs slightly better than the minimum :/

The people who *do* experience crashes tend to get them frequently, while others don't see them at all. Our machines tend to fall in the latter camp, so it's taken a while to track down the issue (I believe we ended up building new test machines to match those of people who were crashing), but we expect to have a solution for it in the next update.

Great to hear!  Though I think there is still another shade of "crashes occasionally".  I can go days without a crash then experience 2 in 5 games...

apart from vc++ error causing the demo to blow up, when the game does run the new thing is  "Host game in CVPFailed " error, i have been geting this trying to host a game , but i keep getting this error. Other times if a game is already present and i try to join , it would just pop up and say "Success" and nothing would happen. i would still be on the Internet games page.

As for my specs:

Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium Service Pack 2
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU    Q6600  @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory: 4gb RAM
gfx card : NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS running at 1680 x 1050 (32 bit) (60Hz)
DirectX Version: DirectX 10

i did manage to play a few games yesterday night without issues , but today i have not been able to create a game nor been able to join a game. (well it did join 2 times of 20-30 tries)
