so i was just reading the post for a the collection of funny and exciting custom favor items like new costums and such and was working on an idea for something that made purple paint lines apear behind demigods so you could tale the when i realized that this idea actual had some strategy game play worth. so after a little more thought i came up with some similar favor items that increase players knowledge of the the game to help in strategy. haven't come up with names or anything so here are the basic ideas:
- Item that shows the where the demigod has been for the last 20 yards or so (idea is for chasing down demigods and seeing where they went in the fog)
- Being able to see enemy demigods active abilities (so that you can kind of tell what build they are without having to feel the spell first hand
- EXPANSION: being able to see their cooldowns as well (makes sense for things like Cold Build TB or again't enemy sednas)
- Being able to see enemy citadel upgrades (so u can beat away at their weaknesses)
- Seeing enemy demigods based damage, HP and mana (so you can attack accordingly)
- Seeing the count down for capping flags and spells (so you can time interupts and flag locks accordingly)
- Reveiling section of the maps fog (so that a reg can get a near death Demigod in his cross hairs or detect an enemy ambush coming)
there were a few other but they didn't play out very nice in team play which is what this lot are about. normaly jus tone of these items has very little effect on you game play. however with proper communicationa nd team synergy several of these items could be combined to result in major game strategies.
things like being able to probably predict ambushed and when enemy demigods are alone as well as making accurate inturupts and knowing who to focus on. i'm sure actual teams can come up with better synergy then me but i thought the idea of enemy intelligence is interested in expanding game play mechanics, specialy when in pro premade games where highly skilled players can take infomations and turn it into really hard on-the-fly strategies.
