Hello,

 

 

I just played against a player named "Purplejvs". He just bought this game and is already talking a lot of trash. On top of being rude, he is being extremely racist. During all my game with him, he kept insulting me with racist slanders.

I hope you get this player banned for life. Thank you.

 

I'm not sure I have posted this in the right section, but I could not find any more appropriate place to post this on.

True. I was just teasing him a bit. The conversation started this way initially, by me saying : "We PWN u"

I was trying to be ironic since the title for the game was just that phrase ("We PWN u") and they were far from PWNing us. Anyway, after that he fired up with his "Your a dirty nigger".

In this modern wold of ours the racism is more used in comedy, then in trash talk. Yes u will hear ppl screaming i hate black ppl and niggers... If this does happen, go to his lvl.. call him a jew or something... or just ignor him =) ...

well i dont know if u are black, or if u just feel offended on the ways of the black commuity tho.

also this is internett, if u get offended here, u wont last long irl.

That does not solve anything. It won't affect him at all and it won't change the fact that he is being racist.

 

The only possible punishment is to ban him.

I'm neither black or jew. I don't even feel offended (for the black community), but I just think racism is such lowlife, scum, stupid and evil behaviour that it profoundly disgusts me.

I know how the internet is and how overwhelming many idiots there are. I am not trying to start a new crusade against them and that is precisely why I partake in as few online disscussions as possible.

However, gamers are a different group of people. Not only do I have to encounter them within the game, but rules can be enforced more easily to them than to other online people.

Teasing other players, fighting with them, cussing and provoking is okay, it seems even normal in a competitive environment, but racist talk is always unsuitable. Also, it doesn't make any sense to call someone a nigger or jew when there is a fat chance that he isn't (and therefore won't be offended)...you're just being purely racist and not even trying to tease others.
