Ingame Substitutions

Due to the very low probability of a great AI, like the "pros" out there (AI at least dont complain:), what about a kind of ingame substitutions (yeah, like football :D), in case of an early disconnection or rage quit? It will be curious to assume other´s character. The game could be paused and somehow take some1 from the lobby?

Just an idea that I had other day while chating waiting for a game...

They've said that something like this will not really be possible. The game would stop, have to load someone in and everything that has happened, synch them back up and try to resume, which may take a few minutes.

And then there is the question of WHO gets to sub in... Just what I want - a game with people in Australia so pings are reasonable and someone from Europe picks up the dropped slot and lags it out...

lol hack .... but that is so tru.

Unfortunately noother is right, it's not realistically possible. It'd be great if it was though!

Yes it would be awesome if it could work, but it won't so we need another solution. Something that isn't discussed enough imo.

IMO you should give the remaining players in the team with the leaver/disconnected the option between replacing the leaver with a AI or get extra gold and some buff (or something similar).

The only way to scare the opposing team into not feeding of your retarded AI is to give the gold earned by killing the AI not to the persone who killed it, but to it's team. Some may not prefer it which is why you should really have an option in the lobby like:

When a player disconnects:

-exit the game without recording it

-concede the game

-give gold earned by killing to the opposing team (my ideea)

-continue with AI

-continue but with the AI stuck near the health crystal (so no feeding will occur)

-etc

I played a game last night 3v3 and lost both allies. In the end one of the other 3 RQ and then the other 2 conceded a bit later.

The reason was between my kills and the AI capping their portal flags etc..., they were still losing. Unfortunately this was largely due to the kit/rank imbalance that had built up prior to the first disconnects...

So it IS possible to win with AI vs no AI, but only if the team that drops someone has enough head start for the AI's stupidity to be compensated for by kit/rank etc...
