Pug Vs. Premade

Myself, BBoyTurbo and Destroye989 have never played together as a group but I have played with both of them seperately. Purgespam entered my game and asked politely for a premade match against us, I said sure. Enter Pacov and Shade. Obviously a little nervous after seeing Pacov switch to Sedna I switch to Sedna whom I haven't played as in weeks. So the epic Pug Vs Premade on voice chat began.

The game began and what a crazy game it was. No clear victor throughout the game as War Rank was generally even.

I would like to thank Purgespam for the invitation of a match because it was an amazing one.

Here is the link to the replay but I think Destroyer named it wrong because we were not truely "premade" as we were not on voice and I have never had BBoyTurbo on my team before:

And yes! experienced Puggers can beat experienced Premades.

I believe there are unoffical replays available, however they're kinda buggy. I haven't tried them yet myself.

And that sounds like a great game!

Indeed, thats a tough squad to beat, or atleast i've yet to have sucess, let alone in a PuG but the only common denomenator is me so.... :X

Be nice once official replays get done.

i figured it out and tried to watch it.
sedna + erebus + ub what can i say.
you guys know my feelings on that combo.

replay was pretty standard then crashed about 5 mins in, didn't look like the game should have ended there so maybe replay is bugged? dunno.

Those replays are official (they are in game), but they are like in beta stage.

Replays in Vista are located here:
C:\Users\(USERNAME)\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\replays\(PROFILENAME)

There is always last game replay, so if you want to save some good game replay, rename or move LastGame.DGReplay file, before start another game. Otherwise your replay will be overwrited by a new one.

 

To play replay, the simplest way is to move replay file to C drive, and run game with parameter:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe" /replay C:\LastGame.DGReplay

You can speed replay up with "+" and slow it down with "-" button. You can use ~ to view HP of demigods.

But right now replays have many problems. Eg. I'm always kicked out of replay after ~10 minutes in, so I can watch only around 10 first minutes. Still, the replay mechanism is in game long time now, but it works really poorly.

hehe.  My ego can take it.  If this is the game I'm thinking of, its worth watching the replay just to see some of the crazy shite I did with sedna.  Crazy as in DO NOT PLAY SEDNA THIS WAY crazy.  I'm pretty sure what I'm talking about will be very obvious if the replay works well enough.  I think I'll finally check out a replay myself.  Thanks for the links and Poul, thanks for the directions!

Well, I watched it until it crashed. Looked like a pretty close game.

I don't know what the hell Cow was doing at the beginning there, and I LOL'd at Beast suiciding twice. You really should at least get assist credit when that happens.

This isn't a bragging thread. I just wanted to show case what a gg would look like between experience, familar, friendly players. I was also trying to get the point across not all premade pug stomp. Pacov and his gang try very hard to play other premades/good players.

Lol I forgot that your beast suicided at least 3 times. That probably played a huge factor(besides me not paying attention+messing up, and purge accidently shielding himself XD)

I tried out the replay... it crapped out for me at 4 minutes.  Oh well.  It will be great once we see it fully implemented.  I just created a shortcut with the following contents "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe" /replay C:\Replay.DGReplay and that worked fine for me.
