So I've been playing a lot of Lord Erebus lately and despite most play strategies saying Mist isn't all that good, I've found it to be really useful when in conjunction with Minions. My build order goes Mist, Coven, Conversion Aura, Mist, Coven, Aura etc etc until level 11 through 13, where I get Morale. All gold spent is spent on tier 4 minions and equiment that benefits minions and mana.
The tactic involves sending Erebus into a swarm of opposing minions and activating Mist (usually once you can maintain Mist for around 30 seconds.) The immediate effect is a lot of dead enemy minions replaced with a lot of Night Walkers. Reposition Erebus as needed so his Mist remains effecting enemy Minions (depending on the situation Erebus can attack as normal as well.) Enemy Demigods will find it near impossible to kill the swarm of Night Walkers and other Minions simply because 40% to 80% of dead enemies are now being turned into more Night Walkers.
While I find this strategy means you won't be killing very many Demigods, your survivability is extremely high and you become ver, very good at killing Minions and Towers, along with capturing and holding flags. Am I just finding this more effective than it actually is or is it actually a good strat?
