Optimal installation for LAN

My friends and I are having a small LAN tonight and I'd like to introduce everyone to Demigod.

I've searched around but cannot find the optimal way to get the game on everyone's computer and have it updated.

I'm aware of the archiving option and am doing that now. I'll share it on the network tonight.

Is this the best way to go about playing with 1 copy? Are they going to have to log into my account to get the updates or is the archive already updated? Is the archive an installation file or just the directory packed up?

Any help would be great, thank you.
